We are happy to announce that the AI in Mentoring partnership will hold its international training event on 18–19 June 2025 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The training will bring together national teams of trainers from all partner countries to focus on one key topic: how to apply the “AI in Mentoring” training programme with company mentors.
Over the past months, our partnership has been working on developing a training approach that helps company mentors use AI tools in their daily work with apprentices. Now, we are getting close to the finish line. The upcoming training in Sofia is an important step in turning that work into action.
To prepare for this, each partner country is now forming a national team of trainers. These teams will be made up of experienced professionals in vocational education and training, dual education, and company mentoring. A selection process is underway to bring together people who have both practical experience and a strong understanding of how to support mentors on the ground.
Before the international training, each country will host a local induction session for its national team. These sessions will introduce the AI in Mentoring approach and explain how the training activities will be organized in the next phase of the project. The goal is to make sure all trainers are fully informed, confident in their roles, and ready to support company mentors in learning how AI can make their work easier and more effective.
We look forward to welcoming our national teams to Sofia in June, and to taking the next step together in helping mentors bring AI into real-world apprenticeship training.
